Rolls Royce Ghost -

This has to be one of my all time favorite cars to work on as it had acres of paint to work with. As the flagship to the UPH Wedding Car Service fleet, the Ghost was booked in to be prepared for the 2014 Scottish Wedding Show and was in general dealership condition for the short miles it had covered, nothing too serious but still could be improved upon greatly.

Angelwax Wax Revelation was used to decontaminate the whole car, this is a new product to us and we found it worked really well, and it smelled of cherries which was a bonus! The Ghost was then hot foamed, rinsed, TFR hot foamed, washed, rinsed, then PH neutral foamed and after using the new clay pad from Avi CarPro the decontamination process was complete.
We moved the huge car inside and blew it dry to reduce the risk of inducing more marring. With the aid of Scholl Concepts S3 and the purple pad, then S30 and the blue pad we manage to get to the desired level of shine on the Ghost and with a coating of C1 starting to cure we moved onto treating the wheels.
The wheel centers were marked so they were cleaned and treated with Gtechniq C5 and as the wheels were off anyway, we decided to machine polish the caliper to give them a lift before also being treated with C5. The lights were then machine polished to help remove the signs of aging before we build up the shine using 3 coats of Gtechniq EXO. Who says you can't get a reflection in silver!!
